Adlår Castra

The story with Adlår started in 2022 in a context of soaring energy prices in Europe and long waiting times at traditional heat pumps installers. The goal was to commercialize a range of heat pumps with a sleek design capable to rival in performance and prices with the historic brands on the market.
Adlår Castra mandated Vario Trade for the task. We have been able to source and validate the best manufacturing partners in Asia and beyond for Adlår, and guided them throughout the whole procurement process, non-exhaustively:
- Procurement strategy: taking care of order attribution to suppliers, forecasting, shipments
- Regularly benchmarking the supply and competition, with immediate corrective actions taken: renegotiation, design updates, functions…
- Inputs on units’ designs, and IP protection in China
- Lead, control and follow-up on product developments
- Certification and compliance with EN and national standards
- Control of 100% of productions
Adlår has since then, not only overtaken the competition in waiting and installation time, but they have also opened sales and installations in 4 European countries, and are currently updating their range to greener, and soon mandatory, heat pump technologies.
